Detailed day-by-day itinerary
Start times remain flexible until travel dates and hotel locations are confirmed. We deliberately state long days and local-vehicle handovers instead of hiding them in the fine print.
Day 1: Arrive and rest
Heated transfer and complete rest.
Day 2: Continue acclimatization
Short walk only if symptom-free; focus on warmth, hydration and rest.
Day 3: Indus valley winter circuit
Visit open monasteries and viewpoints using a winter-prepared vehicle.
Day 4: Nubra attempt or Leh alternative
Cross only if the road is officially open and conditions are acceptable. Otherwise use a curated Leh-area alternative.
Day 5: Flexible winter day
Photography, local culture or recovery day based on weather and health.
Day 6: Departure
Airport transfer; winter flight disruption insurance is recommended.

Can the Winter Ladakh · 6 Days itinerary be customised?
Yes. Nights, route, hotel category, meal plan and pickup point can be changed. We confirm whether a requested change is sensible for the season and driving time before quoting.
Are flights and activity tickets included?
Flights are not included. Gondola, pony, skiing, monument and other activity tickets are included only when the final written quote names them.
What happens if a road or pass closes?
Mountain routes can change with weather, maintenance or security orders. We first adjust the sequence or use a safe alternative; any material cost change is discussed before it is incurred.
Is this a fixed-departure group tour?
No. The standard version is a private trip for your party with a dedicated vehicle. Group departures are offered only when clearly stated.
How is the final price calculated?
The final price reflects travel dates, hotel category, number and age of travelers, vehicle type, meal plan, permits and separately regulated local services.
