Day Itinerary

08:00 AM: Shankaracharya Temple

Start your day with a visit to the ancient Shankaracharya Temple (Jyeshteshwara), dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on top of the Shankaracharya Hill (approx. 1000 ft above the city), it offers a panoramic bird's-eye view of Srinagar and Dal Lake.
Note: You need to climb approx. 240 steps. Phones/Cameras are not allowed inside.

10:30 AM: Sharika Devi (Hari Parbat)

Proceed to the Chakreshwari Temple located on Hari Parbat. Dedicated to Goddess Sharika (a form of Durga), it is considered the presiding deity of Srinagar. The fort walls and the view of the old city are mesmerizing.

01:00 PM: Kheer Bhawani (Tulmulla)

Drive to Tulmulla village (approx 25km) to visit the holy spring of Mata Kheer Bhawani (Ragnya Devi). The color of the spring water is said to change, predicting the future. Devotees offer milk and kheer here. It is one of the most important Hindu shrines in Kashmir.

04:30 PM: Zeashta Devi & Pokhribal

Return to Srinagar and visit the Zeashta Devi Temple near Raj Bhawan on the banks of Dal Lake. It is a serene and peaceful shrine.

06:00 PM: Drop at Hotel/Houseboat

After a spiritually fulfilling day, our driver will drop you back at your hotel or houseboat in Srinagar.

No, cameras and mobile phones are strictly prohibited due to security reasons. You must leave them in your vehicle or deposit them at the CRPF checkpoint before the steps.
