Route designed by local operators
What this journey is really like
A safer multi-day exit from Ladakh with staged overnight stops instead of an exhausting one-shot drive. This is a planning framework, not a rigid bus-tour schedule. The day order can move when weather, road controls, flight times or accommodation availability make another sequence safer and more enjoyable.
- Private vehicle
- Safer staged routing
- Jispa vs Sarchu advice
- Road-status check

The line shows the planning sequence, not a turn-by-turn navigation map. Final road choice follows official opening, checkpoint and local transport rules.
Detailed day-by-day itinerary
Start times remain flexible until travel dates and hotel locations are confirmed. We deliberately state long days and local-vehicle handovers instead of hiding them in the fine print.
Day 1: Leh preparation day
Vehicle, permits if applicable, fuel, luggage and road status are checked. Rest before the highway journey.
Day 2: Leh to Jispa or Sarchu
Cross the plateau and high passes with weather and health stops. Jispa is generally the lower and more comfortable overnight when timing permits.
Day 3: To Manali
Continue across the remaining pass and tunnel corridor, reaching Manali after a long but scenic day.

Frequently asked questions
Can the Leh to Manali Road Trip · 3 Days itinerary be customised?
Yes. Nights, route, hotel category, meal plan and pickup point can be changed. We confirm whether a requested change is sensible for the season and driving time before quoting.
Are flights and activity tickets included?
Flights are not included. Gondola, pony, skiing, monument and other activity tickets are included only when the final written quote names them.
What happens if a road or pass closes?
Mountain routes can change with weather, maintenance or security orders. We first adjust the sequence or use a safe alternative; any material cost change is discussed before it is incurred.
Is this a fixed-departure group tour?
No. The standard version is a private trip for your party with a dedicated vehicle. Group departures are offered only when clearly stated.
How is the final price calculated?
The final price reflects travel dates, hotel category, number and age of travelers, vehicle type, meal plan, permits and separately regulated local services.
