Spiritual Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Jammu & Transfer to Katra

Pick up from Jammu Airport/Railway Station by our private cab. Drive to Katra (approx. 45 km / 1.5 Hours). Check in to your hotel. Evening free to collect your Yatra Parchi (RFID Card) from the registration counter. Dinner and overnight stay in Katra.

Day 2: Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan

Early morning proceed to Banganga / Helipad. Start your trek (13 km) to the Holy Cave. You can walk, hire a pony, or take the battery car (upto Ardhkuwari). After Darshan of the Pindis, return to Katra late in the evening.
*Helicopter tickets subject to availability and advance booking.

Day 3: Departure to Jammu

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive back to Jammu. If time permits, visit the famous Raghunath Temple or Amar Mahal Palace in Jammu before your drop at the Airport/Station.

How long is the trek to the Bhawan?
The trek from Katra to Bhawan is approximately 13 km one way. It is a well-paved track. Battery cars are available from Ardhkuwari to Bhawan, and Ropeway is available from Bhawan to Bhairon Ghati.
Is Yatra Parchi (RFID) mandatory?
Yes, the RFID card (Yatra Parchi) is mandatory for every pilgrim. It is free of cost and can be obtained from the Yatra Registration Counter (YRC) near the bus stand in Katra upon showing a valid ID proof (Aadhaar).
Can we add Shiv Khori to this trip?
Absolutely. We can extend this itinerary by 1 day to include a visit to the holy Shiv Khori Cave (approx 80km from Katra). Just mention it in the inquiry form.
